Summer Reading 2011

If you have little ones who aren’t reading yet (up to 1st grade), sign them up for the “Read to Me” program. Every 5 hours you read to them, they receive a prize! Encourage a love of books with your child and have fun sharing time together.

The game lasts until August 10, 2012

How Do I Play?

Sign Up
Sign up by visiting the library or by clicking on the "Sign Up" button. Registration is easy. Fill in a short form and start reading!

Read
Read any books that you and your child enjoy and record the amount of time you spend reading. When you have completed 5 hours together, login to your account at www.summerfun.portagelibrary.info at the library or via any internet connection and record your time.

Redeem Prizes
Come to the Portage District library and get your prizes. You will receive a prize for every 5 hours read up to 30 hours. You may redeem your prizes any time between June 3 and August 10.
